memory protection
atminties apsauga statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis ↑Operatyviosios atminties paskirstymas programoms ir priemonės, užtikrinančios, kad programa negalėtų pakeisti svetimų duomenų, t. y. esančių kitoms programoms skirtose atminties srityse. Kai kuri nors programa bando kreiptis į atmintį jai neleidžiamu adresu, operacinė sistema sustabdo tos programos veikimą ir išduoda pranešimą apie įvykusią klaidą. Kitų programų veikimas nesutrinka. Tai labai svarbi operacinės sistemos funkcija, nes nesant atminties apsaugos, sutrikus kurios nors programos veikimui ir tapus jos veiksmams nenuspėjamiems, galėtų būti sugriautas kitų programų, net ir operacinės sistemos, veikimas. Atminties apsauga užtikrinama aparatinėmis ir programinėmis priemonėmis. atitikmenys: angl. memory protection ryšiai: dar žiūrėkoperatyvioji atmintis dar žiūrėkprivilegijuotoji būsena dar žiūrėkprivilegijuotoji komanda
